The Congress Centre sits on Dixon Road inside the Pearson hotel cluster, which makes it the easiest major venue in the region to serve — and the one where delegates most often assume they can walk between the hotel and the hall. On Dixon Road in February, they cannot.

What we have learned working Toronto Congress Centre

Almost every delegate here is staying in an airport hotel five minutes away. A frequent short loop is far more useful than a scheduled coach.

Pearson is close enough that arrival-day meet-and-greet straight to the venue is completely practical for international delegates.

Dixon Road backs up badly at shift change around the airport. Build ten minutes into afternoon legs.

Booking an event transfer

Event work is normally booked either as two point-to-point transfers or as an hourly as-directed hire. Two transfers is cheaper when the finish time is predictable; hourly is better when it is not, when there is a dinner either side, or when the group would rather the car simply stayed with them. We will tell you which is cheaper for your specific evening rather than quoting the larger one by default.

Whatever you choose, the fare is fixed when you book. It does not surge after the show, it does not change because it rained, and it includes 407 ETR tolls where the route uses them.
