Fifty thousand people leaving the Rogers Centre at once, most of them heading for Union, turns the block bounded by Front, Bremner, Blue Jays Way and Rees into a slow-moving crowd for a good half hour. A car that is already positioned outside that box gets you moving; one that tries to reach the gates does not.

Drop at the Blue Jays Way gates. Pickup is normally on Bremner west of Rees or on Front Street west of the SkyWalk, confirmed by your chauffeur before the ninth.

Day games on a summer weekend coincide with CNE and waterfront traffic. Add half an hour to the inbound leg between June and Labour Day.

For stadium concerts the roof configuration changes the egress: a closed-roof show empties through fewer gates and takes noticeably longer to clear.

The Rogers Centre and Scotiabank Arena are a four-minute walk apart but a fifteen-minute drive on an event night. If your evening involves both, keep the car outside the block and walk between them.

Booking an event transfer

Event work is normally booked either as two point-to-point transfers or as an hourly as-directed hire. Two transfers is cheaper when the finish time is predictable; hourly is better when it is not, when there is a dinner either side, or when the group would rather the car simply stayed with them. We will tell you which is cheaper for your specific evening rather than quoting the larger one by default.

Whatever you choose, the fare is fixed when you book. It does not surge after the show, it does not change because it rained, and it includes 407 ETR tolls where the route uses them.
