Distillery District Limo & Event Transport

The Distillery District is entirely pedestrian inside its cobbled boundary, so every arrival is a drop at the edge and a short walk in. In December, when the Winter Village runs, the surrounding streets fill completely and the walk gets longer if you are dropped in the wrong place.

Where the car waits

Mill Street or Trinity Street at the district boundary. During the Winter Village we use the eastern approach, which stays clear when Parliament Street backs up.

What we have learned working Distillery District

Winter Village evenings and weekends are extremely busy. Being dropped at the correct edge saves a genuinely unpleasant ten-minute walk in the cold.

The cobbles are hard going in heels and worse in ice — worth knowing before a wedding here.

Fermenting Cellar weddings work best with a guest shuttle from the hotel; there is no useful guest parking anywhere nearby.

Booking an event transfer

Event work is normally booked either as two point-to-point transfers or as an hourly as-directed hire. Two transfers is cheaper when the finish time is predictable; hourly is better when it is not, when there is a dinner either side, or when the group would rather the car simply stayed with them. We will tell you which is cheaper for your specific evening rather than quoting the larger one by default.

Whatever you choose, the fare is fixed when you book. It does not surge after the show, it does not change because it rained, and it includes 407 ETR tolls where the route uses them.
